Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment is seeking a Junior AV Engineer in London to join a state-of-the-art home cinema and smart home automation company. You will receive full training, assist with installing and testing AV systems across prestigious residential projects, and build skills toward senior roles.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with Crestron, Control4 and Lutron, work on drawings and schematics, and benefit from progression, paid travel, and company benefits as you grow within the team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation experience in Commercial/Residential AV or similar.
• Understanding of cabling, second-fix installation and testing.
• Willingness to learn AV programming and home automation tech.
• Full UK driving licence or actively working toward one.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cable termination, equipment connections, testing and fault-finding.

Are you an AV Engineer or similar looking to join a state-of-the-art Home Cinema Automation Company, where you will be given full training and progression into Senior and leadership roles?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business specialising in high-end residential AV installations, including luxury home cinemas, smart home automation and lighting control systems. You'll be responsible for installing, connecting and testing specialist AV equipment across prestigious residential properties.

You’ll receive hands-on training from experienced engineers, with opportunities to develop programming skills across specialist home automation systems such as Crestron, Control4 and Lutron. As the company expands, you’ll be in an excellent position to develop into a more technically advanced engineer and progress into senior and leadership roles.

The Role

• Install and second-fix AV equipment, smart home systems and lighting controls across high-end residential properties.
• Carry out cable termination, equipment connections, testing and fault-finding.
• Work from technical drawings and schematics to deliver high-quality installations.
• Receive training in AV programming and specialist home automation technologies.

About You

• Hands-on installation experience within Commercial AV, Residential AV, Security, CCTV, Access Control, Lighting Controls or similar.
• Understanding of cabling, cable termination, second-fix installation and testing.
• Comfortable working on-site, both independently and alongside other engineers.
• Motivated to learn AV programming and develop into a more technically advanced engineer.
• Full UK driving licence, or actively working towards obtaining one.

Package & Progression

£30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
