Job summary

Roundhouse Recruitment Ltd in London is seeking an Audio Visual Installation Engineer to join a fast-growing Smart Home Automation company. You will install, test, and commission high-end residential AV systems, including cinema rooms, lighting controls, and smart home integration.

The role includes hands-on training in AV programming with Crestron, Control4 and Lutron, opportunities for progression into senior and leadership positions, and paid travel on prestigious projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation experience within Commercial AV, Residential AV, Security, CCTV, Access Control, Lighting Controls or similar.
• Understanding of cabling, cable termination, second-fix installation and testing.
• Comfortable working on-site, both independently and alongside other engineers.
• Motivated to learn AV programming and develop into a more technically advanced engineer.
• Full UK driving licence, or actively working towards obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Install and second-fix AV equipment, smart home systems and lighting controls across high-end residential properties.
• Carry out cable termination, equipment connections, testing and fault-finding.
• Work from technical drawings and schematics to deliver high-quality installations.
• Receive training in AV programming and specialist home automation technologies.

Are you an AV Installation Engineer or similar looking to join a fast-growing Smart Home Automation company offering specialist training in AV programming and opportunities to progress into Senior and Management positions?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business specialising in high-end residential AV installations, including luxury home cinemas, smart home automation and lighting control systems. You'll be responsible for installing, connecting and testing specialist AV equipment across prestigious residential properties.

You'll receive hands-on training from experienced engineers, with opportunities to develop programming skills across specialist home automation systems such as Crestron, Control4 and Lutron. As the company expands, you'll be in an excellent position to develop into a more technically advanced engineer and progress into senior and leadership roles.

The Role
