Interaction Recruitment is supporting a well-established supplier of agricultural, ground-care and garden machinery in recruiting a Junior Agricultural Engineer in Malton, North Yorkshire. You'll develop skills toward a fully qualified Agricultural & Ground-Care Equipment Technician.

The role suits someone with a mechanical or engineering background seeking a long-term career in agricultural engineering. You will diagnose faults, service and repair machinery including tractors and balers, travel

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulics and mechanical/electrical systems is essential.
• Experience in agricultural, automotive, or mechanical environments is advantageous.
• Experience in electrical/mechanical fault finding, repair and servicing is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service machinery and perform emergency repairs.
• Work on agricultural machinery including tractors, balers and similar equipment.
• Travel to customer sites to service, maintain and repair equipment.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Work on engines, batteries and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.
• Liaise with customers to diagnose faults and identify effective solutions.
