Job summary

Interaction Technical is recruiting a Junior Agricultural Engineer to join a well-established supplier of agricultural, ground-care and garden machinery in Malton, North Yorkshire. The role offers a clear path to become a fully trained Agricultural & Ground-Care Equipment Technician with ongoing training and development.

You will diagnose faults, service a wide range of machinery, travel to customer sites, and work with engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulics alongside mechanical and electrical systems is essential.
• Experience in agricultural, automotive, material handling or mechanical engineering environments is advantageous.
• Experience with engines and batteries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service machinery and carry out emergency breakdown repairs.
• Work on agricultural machinery: tractors, combines, balers and other equipment.
• Travel to customer sites for servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with customers to diagnose faults and identify solutions.
