Job summary

New Hampshire Ball Bearings is seeking a Junior Quality Engineer to support key projects and drive improvements across the Quality Department. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to develop knowledge of aerospace quality standards, manufacturing processes, inspection, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations, you will help ensure products meet safety, quality, traceability and compliance

Qualifications

• Understanding of Quality Management System Standards: AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 9000
• Investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions using 8D, DMAIC, FMEA, and 5 Whys
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean principles, and SPC
• Audits to assess AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance
• Reading and interpreting GD&T drawings

Responsibilities

• Support key projects and drive improvements across the Quality Department
• Assist with aerospace quality processes and compliance
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations
• Contribute to ensuring product safety, quality, traceability and compliance
