We're GEEIQ (pronounced like ‘Geek') and we’re a data platform and insights provider that’s used by the likes of Gucci, L’Oreal, Walmart and the BBC to navigate and engage virtual worlds. Think Ralph Lauren in Fortnite, or Elton John in Roblox.

We believe that the metaverse hype is over and that brands demand more than just good press when it comes to activating in these spaces; they need to be able to measure, attribute and identify tangible revenue opportunities. That’s where our platform comes in.

Based in London, GEEIQ is a team of 40 with plans to grow substantially in the next 24 months. Predominantly office-based, our working environment fosters collaboration and innovation.

The team

Our Client Services team integrates themselves within the brands they work with to deliver data-led decisions on key project strategies. The makeup of the team consists of gaming & marketing enthusiasts who champion the GEEIQ platform and provide a data led approach to the strategies they implement with each brand.

The role

We are seeking a driven and proactive Junior Account Executive to join our dynamic Client Services team, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of projects. Collaborating closely with an Account Director and Account Manager, you'll support them with research & strategy, activation reporting, and presentation development, while bringing fresh perspectives and a keen eagerness to learn.

As a Junior Account Executive, you'll be servicing the needs of our clients such as L’Oreal, Versace, HUGO BOSS and Walmart. This role offers ample opportunities to collaborate directly with these teams, contributing meaningfully to project strategies and outcomes. You'll also have the chance to engage with stakeholders through both virtual and face-to-face presentations.

This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and aspire to make a tangible impact through their work. The role will require you to be detail-oriented and meticulous in your deliverables, particularly the presentations you create.

What the day will look like

  • Supporting across all client comms on projects, ensuring tasks are completed within given timelines.
  • Creating strategy & data analysis presentations that are concise and visually impactful.
  • Completing day-to-day project tasks while maintaining high standards.
  • Scheduling client meetings and supporting AM/AD with setting agendas, taking minutes, and following up with action points.
  • Offering creative ideas to develop exciting campaigns.
  • Supporting the account management team in delivering quality client-facing materials.
  • Collating data and insights for monitoring and evaluation, and reporting updates.
  • Collaborating closely with other team members.

What we are looking for

  • 0-2 years experience in marketing/technology/brand-relevant industries.
  • Highly personable with a collaborative spirit, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data savvy, proficient in using Google Sheets & Excel.
  • Excellent presentation-building skills, with a creative & detail-oriented eye.
  • Enthusiastic, excited by challenges, and proactive.
  • A curious mindset with a thirst for continual learning and improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to generate creative solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders.
  • Able to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact and maturity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google productivity suites.
  • A keen interest in the gaming industry and/or a base understanding of digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Right to work in the UK.
