Job summary:

As an Associate Account Director, you will be responsible for excellence in delivery across projects within medium-to-large and often complex client accounts. You will provide strategic counsel, manage project execution, and oversee a cross-functional team alongside the account lead or sponsor.

Stepping up from the Senior Account Manager role, you will take a leadership role, guiding your team, maintaining client satisfaction, and seeking growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and set expectations
  • Oversee multiple projects within at least two client accounts, ensuring alignment with overall strategy
  • Deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
  • Troubleshoot client challenges and manage challenging conversations
  • Challenge clients when necessary to ensure quality
  • Stay informed about clients' business and external factors
  • Develop objectives and strategies for new work
  • Maintain proactive contact with clients and mentor team members
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops
  • Identify and sell new ideas for organic growth and new business opportunities
  • Support new business processes and internal planning
  • Lead and develop your team, fostering a positive culture
  • Manage financial aspects including budgets, forecasts, and invoicing
  • Ensure account profitability and address issues like scope creep
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and stay updated on industry best practices

Required skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in data communication and presentation development
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering quality work on schedule and budget
  • Previous line management experience
  • High energy and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
