Hawk Hiring LTD in the Crowborough area is seeking a Junior Custom & Defender Builder or Trainee Specialist with at least 6 months of mechanical experience to learn bespoke fabrication, chassis assembly, tuning, and restoration of classic Land Rovers.

The role offers hands-on work with full UK driving licence and basic hand tools, generous on-site parking, and a tailored pay scale (£29,000–£33,000) with an annual performance bonus. Immediate start possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ months of professional garage, agricultural engineering, or mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and a genuine passion for classic 4x4s, tuning, and Land Rovers.
• Hands-on experience with basic mechanical tools, fabrication, or vehicle stripping/rebuilding.
• Full UK driving licence & basic hand tools.
