Marshall Group in Milton Keynes is seeking a Product Manager to own the roadmap and portfolio for the MI category within amplification gear, reporting to the Director of Product Management. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, marketing and sales to deliver a cohesive product portfolio.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in product management, strong business sense, and a passion for music technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering is required.
  • 1–2 years' experience in product management, preferably in the MI industry.
  • Strong understanding of business fundamentals.
  • Demonstrating leadership potential.
  • Analytical skills to interpret product metrics, user needs and market data.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing and sales.
  • Advocate for user-centric design decisions.

Right now, we need to strengthen our Product Management team with a Product Manager based in Milton Keynes who will focus on the roadmap and product portfolio within our musical instrument (MI) category.

What you’ll do:

You will support the Product management team to develop the product roadmap for the Amplification category and secure a competitive and cohesive portfolio across different types of guitar amplification gear, such as heads, combos, cabinets, and pedals. You will drive the product development cross the lifecycle with a strong focus on both product excellence and business outcomes. You will report to the Director of Product Management.

You probably have the following experiences & skills:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering field, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' experience in a product management role, preferably within the musical instrument (MI) industry.
  • Understanding of business fundamentals.
  • Demonstrating leadership potential.
  • Analytical skills to interpret product metrics, user needs and market data to make informed product decisions.
  • Work in cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing and sales.
  • Advocate for user–centric design decisions.
  • Eagerness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in product management.
  • Ambition to grow in the role with increased responsibility and future category ownership.
