SP Electricity North West invites applications for a Jointers Mate. You will operate in a two-person team on street furniture faults, service terminations and restoring supplies, including LV and HV cables.
You must have NRSWA accreditation, a full UK driving licence, and be willing to work outside in all weather. The role includes risk assessments, permits, and using various tools to access the network.

The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
As a Jointers Mate you will work as part of a two-person team on work including street furniture faults, replacing single and three phase service terminations, finding and repairing customer services, restoring supplies to multiple customers including LV operations and repairing high voltage cables.
You will be expected as part of a team to complete Point of Work Risk Assessments, raise permits, use disc cutters, breakers hand tools and mini diggers to excavate in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company codes of practice to provide access to our network in readiness for all aspects of jointing work.
As the successful candidate, you will be required to participate in a 24 hour standby rota to provide quality continuous service to our customers.
