A leading energy company in the UK seeks a Joint Venture Accountant to join their Renewables Financial Control team in Perth or Glasgow. The role focuses on financial reporting for the Seagreen Windfarm and requires a professional qualification with strong analytical skills. You will prepare month-end reports, manage balance sheets, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance. Competitive salary and flexible benefits are included.
Base Location: Glasgow or Perth
Salary: £42600 - £64000 + performance related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Joint Venture Accountant to join the Renewables Financial Control team based in Perth or Glasgow. The role will have a particular focus on Seagreen Windfarm, Scotland's largest offshore wind farm. Reporting into the Joint Venture Finance Manager, you will be involved in delivering accurate and timely general accounting, period end closing and reporting activities, and delivery of reporting information to the commercial finance team and JV partner to provide updates on financial performance and provide additional insight through reporting and commentary as required. The role will involve working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, focusing on establishing best practice in reporting and processes.
In addition to the above you will be a good communicator, professional and diligent, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure, whilst never compromising on the quality of your work. You will be flexible, adept at managing expectations and be able to adapt to changing business needs.
