Job summary

RNN Group in Worksop is seeking a Joinery Skills Tutor to lead work-based learning for apprentices in joinery and wood trades. You will deliver engaging sessions, bridge workshop and site learning, and develop KSBs aligned with industry needs.

The role requires hands-on joinery experience, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), and an A1/V1 Assessor Award with a Level 5 teaching qualification or progress toward them.

Qualifications

• Industry roots in joinery/woodworking.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant wood trade.
• A1/V1 Assessor Award and a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or commitment to work toward them).
• Ability to build strong relationships with diverse learners and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions that bridge workshop and site.
• Develop Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) that employers crave.
• Conduct on-site performance reviews and assessments to ensure high standards.
• Track progress through e-portfolios and keep stakeholders aligned.
