Job summary

RNN Group is seeking an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor in Joinery at North Notts Campus, Nottingham. You will train and mentor apprentices, bridging workshop practice with on-site standards to develop elite carpenters and joiners.

We value hands-on joinery experience, a Level 3 NVQ in wood trades, and an A1/V1 Assessor Award with a Level 5 Teaching qualification. You’ll lead sessions, assess progress, and support learners toward professional qualification through our work-based learning team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on joinery experience in wood trades.
• Ability to mentor and coach learners.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging joinery sessions bridging workshop and site.
• Develop Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours to meet employer needs.
• Conduct on-site performance reviews and assessments for apprentices.
• Track progress through e-portfolios and keep stakeholders informed.
