Job summary

VANRATH is assisting a large Public Sector Organisation in Portadown to recruit a Joiner for initially 3 months with a view to extension. You will handle responsive maintenance, communicate with management and deliver high‑quality joinery work on dwellings and premises.

Key requirements include NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), a valid CSCS/CSR card, on‑site experience, and a clean driving licence. You must work to health and safety rules and support the team to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent required.
• Valid CSCS/CSR card.
• On-site experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation.
• Full, valid, clean driving license.
• Experience working on Response Maintenance contracts.

Joiner (Public Sector) VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an Joiner for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension. You will predominantly be based in their Portadown site.

• Carry out the actual work to the high-quality standards that the organization expects
• Uphold Data Protection Policies
• Undertake any other duty deemed necessary by Management, to ensure the efficient running of the business

The Ideal Person

• Relevant trade qualification - NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Valid CSCS/CSR card
• Relevant on-site experience in similar role
• Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to demonstrate good teamwork values
• Full, valid, clean driving license
• Experience working on Response Maintenance contracts

Remuneration

£27,694 - £32,597 plus Van & Fuel Card (A form of transport will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out their duties.)

Salary

GBP 20000 - 24000 per year
