Job summary

VanRath in Coleraine is seeking a Joiner to support a public sector organisation with maintenance and craftsmanship across Northern Ireland. You will respond to requests, carry out high-standard repairs, and work within a collaborative team to ensure quality service.

Key requirements include NVQ Level 3, CSCS/CSR card, driving licence, and strong health & safety awareness. Excellent communication with clients and management is essential for the role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• CSCS/CSR card required.
• Experience in a similar joinery role, particularly maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and carry out repairs to high standards.
• Communicate effectively with management and clients.
• Itemise and plan work in dwellings and premises.
• Maintain compliance with Data Protection policies.
• Support the team with any additional duties necessary for the smooth running of operations.
