Job summary

Places for People is seeking a qualified Joiner to carry out joinery installations and repairs in domestic properties across a defined local area. You will travel in a company van, work to prescribed standards, and protect customers' homes while performing duties.

The role supports apprentices and contributes to team KPIs. You'll join a large housing provider that values safeguarding and community impact, with a structured induction and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery.
• Experience working as a Joiner, ideally within social housing or domestic properties.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Due to the area this patch covers, you will need to be based within the PE postcode.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out joinery installations and repairs within domestic properties.
• Completing work such as doors, kitchens, flooring and internal fittings.
• Working to specifications, reports, and agreed standards.
• Protecting Customers' homes and belongings while completing work.
• Collaborating with supervisors, schedulers and wider teams to meet deadlines.
• Recording work activity and completing required documentation.
• Supporting apprentices and contributing to team performance and KPIs
