Job summary

Bradford Metropolitan District Council is recruiting a Joiner Installer for on-site joinery installation across domestic and commercial settings. Role includes Health & Safety compliance, reading drawings, and contributing to quality control.

The ideal candidate will be trained with a focus on safe installation practices, be adaptable to varied site locations, and support junior colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in joinery or construction preferred; training provided.
• Ability to read scale drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work in a health and safety conscious environment.
• Reliable with a flexible approach to site locations.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain joinery across domestic and commercial sites.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and manuals for installations.
• Ensure works comply with Building Regulations and BS standards as applicable.
• Support and mentor apprentices on site when required.
