Carpenter / Joiner (Workshop-Based)
Location: Warrington, Cheshire (WA3)
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 3 Months (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: £15 – £19 per hour (Negotiable DOE)
Venatu Recruitment Group is currently recruiting a Carpenter / Joiner on behalf of our client, a leading Infrastructure Support business working on national frameworks including the Ministry of Justice (MOJ). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner to join a professional and established team in a primarily workshop-based role.
Workshop joinery – manufacture of:
Doors, windows, staircases, formwork and shuttering, timber signposts as well as other bespoke timber items
Occasional site-based installation and maintenance work
Maintain stock levels of timber and building maintenance materials
Keep the workshop clean, organised, and running efficiently
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery or Carpentry (essential)
Workshop joinery experience (essential)
Previous experience with FM, building maintenance, or building services contractors (preferred)
Ability to read technical drawings and deliver high-quality work
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Must be able to pass enhanced security clearance (due to MOJ site access)
£15 – £19 per hour (dependent on experience)
Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension
Workshop-based position in Warrington (WA3)
