Job summary

Une entreprise de soutien à l'infrastructure recherche un menuisier / ébéniste basé à Manchester. Ce rôle impliquera la fabrication d'éléments en bois dans un environnement d'atelier, tout en offrant des opportunités de travail sur des projets d'infrastructure publics critiques. Les candidats doivent avoir une expérience de travail en marqueterie et un NVQ en menuisière.

Qualifications

• Expérience antérieure en marqueterie nécessaire.

Responsibilities

• Marqueterie à l'atelier - fabrication de portes, fenêtres, escaliers.
• Installation et maintenance occasionnelles sur site.
• Maintenir les niveaux de stock de bois et de matériaux de construction.

Carpenter / Joiner (Workshop-Based)

Location: Manchester (M60)

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: 3 Months (Potential Extension)

Pay Rate: £15 – £19 per hour (Negotiable DOE)

Venatu Recruitment Group is currently recruiting a Carpenter / Joiner on behalf of our client, a leading Infrastructure Support business delivering services across national frameworks including the Ministry of Justice (MOJ). This is a great opportunity for a skilled joiner to join a professional, well-established team in a predominantly workshop-based role.

Key Responsibilities

• Workshop joinery – manufacture of:
• Doors, windows, staircases
• Formwork and shuttering
• Timber signposts and bespoke timber items
• Occasional site-based installation and maintenance support
• Maintain stock levels of timber and building materials
• Ensure the workshop remains clean, organised, and efficient
  

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery or Carpentry (essential)
• Proven workshop joinery experience (essential)
• Previous experience with FM, building maintenance, or building services contractors (preferred)
• Ability to read technical drawings and work to high standards
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Must be able to pass enhanced security clearance (required for MOJ work)
