Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking a Joiner to work on behalf of the council in the Darlington area. The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of 2nd fix maintenance in a busy planned repairs environment, including fitting and repairing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens, worktops, flooring and refurbishment works to a high standard.

The role offers 7:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday, with a long run of work.

Qualifications

• 2nd fix joinery duties in a council repairs environment.
• Experience in domestic property maintenance and refurbishments.

Responsibilities

• Planned repairs in domestic properties to a high standard.
• Fitting and repairing doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens, worktops, flooring.
• Complete refurbishment works to a high standard.

The successful candidate will be expected to complete:

• Planned repairs in domestic properties to a high standard.
• 7:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday
• Work to a high standard

I am really keen in speaking to anyone who has:

• City and Guilds or NVQ in carpentry or joinery.
• Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
