Job summary

Neo Property Solutions is seeking a Joiner to install and remediate fire doors on occupied sites across the Midlands and beyond. You will fit intumescent seals, switches, and ironmongery, inspect workmanship, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role offers a basic to £38,600 plus overtime, travel time and benefits, with a company van, MediCash Healthcare, Vivup discounts and generous holiday allowance. Regular hours are 08:00–16:30 Mon-Thu, with travel expected locally.

Qualifications

• Carrying out installation of fire door sets and remedial repairs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Install and replace intumescent and smoke seals, hinges and other ironmongery to fire doors.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Record all work completed using a mobile device; training provided.
• Work professionally with high workmanship and customer service on site.

Joiner - Fire Doors (Installation & Remedial Works)

Location - Northampton (Regional - Midlands)

Salary - Basic to £38,600 + Overtime + travel time + benefits

At NEO Property Solutions we specialise in the installation and maintenance of Fire Doors – both timber and composite. Our work ranges from Schools, Hospitals, Sports Arena, Offices, Apartments, Social Housing, Retail Outlets to Care Homes and more.

What we need from you:

• Carry out Installation of fire door sets or remedial repairs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Install and replace intumescent and smoke seals, hinges and other ironmongery.

• Remove existing fire doors and frames and install complete replacement door sets where required.

• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the required quality and compliance standards.

• Accurately record all work completed using a mobile device, with full training provided.

• Work professionally and reliably on occupied sites, maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.

• Manage day-to-day challenges effectively while remaining focused on completing work safely and efficiently.

Working Hours:

• Working hours – Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 (15:30 on Fridays)
• Generally travel up to 1.5 hours of your home (We try to keep you as local as possible)
