Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Joiner for a hospital-based role in Oldham. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, on a temp ongoing contract with a PAYE pay rate of £20 per hour.

Duties include joining and fabric repairs, with emphasis on safe working practices and adherence to drawings and method statements. Ideal candidates will have an apprenticeship in joinery or relevant practical experience, strong health and safety knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret drawings

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or practical joinery experience.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and safe use of tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
• Ability to take measurements and interpret drawings/diagrams.
• Experience with joinery works and building fabric repairs.

• Carry out joinery works and building fabric repairs in hospital.
• Interpret plans and method statements to ensure accurate work.

Job description

We are currently looking for a Joiner to work with one of our clients based in Oldham. This is based in a Hospital

Monday - Friday

8am - 4pm

Temp contract - Ongoing

Pay rate - 20ph paye

Duties:

• Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Joinery or relevant practical experience within a similar industry would be an advantage.
• Sound awareness of risk assessment and safe use of tools, equipment and plant.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
• Ability to take accurate measurements, work to plans and method statements, and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Experience carrying out building fabric repairs and maintenance, including joinery works.
