Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Joiner for an immediate 8-week contract to carry out kitchen fitting, second‑fix joinery, and bathroom upgrades across domestic properties in Long Eaton and Ilkeston. The role supports a well‑established contractor with steady, occupied- and void-property projects.

Ideal candidates have experience in kitchen fitting, finishing, and aqua panel installation, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in kitchen fitting and second-fix joinery.
• The ability to complete high-quality finishing work independently.
• Experience fitting bathroom panels or aqua panels.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience working in domestic properties, maintenance, or social housing.

Responsibilities

• Fitting kitchens to a high standard within domestic properties.
• Completing general second-fix joinery, including doors, skirting boards, architraves, and ironmongery.
• Carrying out minor repairs and finishing works as required.
• Fitting aqua panels in bathrooms where needed.
• Working safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and professional finish.
• Delivering excellent customer service while working in occupied and void properties.

Overview

Take on an immediate 8‑week contract paying £23.10 per hour, with the potential for an extension. As a Joiner, you'll carry out kitchen fitting, second‑fix works, and bathroom upgrades for a well‑established contractor working within domestic properties.

We welcome applicants with experience as a Joiner, Kitchen Fitter, Carpenter, Second‑Fix Carpenter, or Multi‑Skilled Operative within domestic maintenance, refurbishment, or social housing.

Responsibilities

• Fitting kitchens to a high standard within domestic properties
• Completing general second‑fix joinery, including doors, skirting boards, architraves, and ironmongery
• Carrying out minor repairs and finishing works as required
