Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is looking for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to service a large site in Wythenshawe on a long-term contract with the potential to go permanent. The role focuses on planned and preventative maintenance and general joinery repairs across doors, frames, kitchens, and fixtures.

The position runs 8am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours) with a competitive hourly rate and clear progression opportunities within a Facilities Management environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a maintenance environment
• Multi-skilled background
• Ability to carry out basic works across other trades (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative maintenance
• General joinery repairs and maintenance (doors, frames, kitchens, fixtures, etc.)
• Basic multi-trade tasks (patch plastering, minor plumbing, etc.)
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults across building fabric

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Multi-Skilled Joiner required for a Facilities Management company to carry out planned and preventative maintenance on a large site in Wythenshawe. Our client is looking for an experienced and hardworking Joiner to join the team. This is a long-term secure contract position with the view to going permanent, with opportunities for progression available.

This role will be working 8am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Planned and preventative maintenance
• General joinery repairs and maintenance (doors, frames, kitchens, fixtures, etc.)
• Basic multi-trade tasks (patch plastering, minor plumbing, etc.)
