The Guinness Partnership in London delivers repairs and maintenance for residents, seeking a Multi Skilled Joiner to perform joinery, plumbing, tiling and flooring as part of a responsive repairs team.

The role is permanent, 40 hours weekly, with a rota for out-of-hours on-call and occasional Saturday mornings. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 are essential to join Guinness Property’s trusted housing services.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in social housing or responsive repairs preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and record information accurately.

About the role We are looking for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our London team, delivering responsive repairs and general multi-skilled work. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment. To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the Camden & Islington area. A full UK driving licence is essential. A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by Guinness. Essential requirements of the roleYou must be able to demonstrate competence within your primary trade, with the ability to carry out various multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork, mould
washes/treatment and flooring installation.Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the social housing sector, with a consistent track record of delivering high quality service.Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information.Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills.Ability to carry out physical tasks and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.Essential Qualifications:NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or an equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.TGPCVL BenefitsHolidays: We offer 25 27 days holiday a year, plus bank holidays.
