Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking experienced Shopfitting Joiners for a McDonald’s fit-out project in Caernarfon, Wales. The role requires skilled joiners with shopfitting/commercial fit-out experience to deliver high-quality joinery work on site.

Responsibilities include 1st and 2nd fix joinery, installing doors and skirting, and working to drawings. Valid CSCS card and own tools are essential; potential for extended work for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a joiner in shopfitting or commercial fit-outs.
• CSCS card required.
• Own tools and PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• General 1st and 2nd fix joinery.
• Installing doors, frames, skirting and architraves.
• Fitting timber and other fixtures.
• Installing shopfitting units and fixtures.
• Working from drawings and site instructions.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting materials accurately.
• Working alongside other trades on a busy commercial fit-out.
• Ensuring all joinery work is completed to a high standard.
• Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised.
• Following all site health & safety requirements.
