The ideal candidate has fitting or assembly experience (modular construction preferred), owns his/her hand tools, and can read technical drawings.

About the Role

Orchard Professional Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Fitters/Joiner to join a leading manufacturer of modular buildings in the beverley area. This is a day shift role offering long-term stability and overtime opportunities. You will be responsible for fitting and assembling modular building components to a high standard within a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out fitting and assembly work on modular buildings
• Install fixtures, fittings, and internal components
• Read and work from technical drawings and job specifications
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ensure all work is completed to company quality standards
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous fitting or assembly experience is essential
• Experience within modular construction or manufacturing is advantageous
• Must have your own hand tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and instructions
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
