Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking an experienced Joiner to support a construction project in Barrow-in-Furness. You will perform general joinery on site, including first and second fix, and fit doors, frames, skirting boards and architraves.

Applicants must have own tools, a strong eye for detail and quality workmanship, and be reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Start date is November 2026.

JOB DETAILS

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• Carrying out general joinery work on site


• Completing first fix and second fix joinery as required


• Fitting doors, door frames, skirting boards and architraves


• Measuring, cutting and fitting timber materials accurately


• Installing joinery components to a high standard


• Working from site drawings and instructions where required
