Job summary

Lighthouse Learning Trust invites applications for a part-time Job Coach to support young people with Education, Health and Care Plans on our Supported Internship programme.

The role involves placements across Richard Taunton Sixth Form College and St Vincent College, with DBS check required and a driving licence. 21.5 hours per week, term time 39+3 weeks per year, salary pro-rated to LLT Spine Point 23.

Qualifications

• Ideally candidates will hold a qualification in Supported Employment.
• Training in Systematic Instruction; if not, training will be provided.
• Driving license is required.

Job Summary

We have 2 permanent vacancies available for this role.

This is a part time term time only role (39+3 weeks) 21.5 hours per week, 39+3 weeks per year.

Salary: Support Staff LLT Spine Point 23 - £26,817 FTE £14,414 Actual.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Supported Internship programme for young people with Education, Health and Care Plans.

Role Overview

The Job Coach will work with young people with additional needs during their placements that will ultimately lead to paid work. They will be supporting the young people in the workplace and helping them to learn and do the job, while they are on the internship programme.

Qualifications & Training

Ideally candidates will hold a qualification in Supported Employment and be trained in Systematic Instruction. However, for the right candidate this training will be provided.

The role is working across the Lighthouse Learning Trust, at both colleges, Richard Taunton Sixth Form College and St Vincent College.
