Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a motivated Job Coach in SEN to support learners across our Redditch campus and beyond. You will build partnerships with employers, monitor placement progress, and help students develop employability skills in a lively, inclusive environment.

Job description

• Build and maintain relationships with employers to secure work placements, supported projects, and guest speaker opportunities.
• Assess and approve placement providers, ensuring all necessary risk assessments, insurance, and compliance documentation are in place.
• Support students before and during placements by monitoring progress, assessing employability skills, and providing guidance where needed.
• Work collaboratively with Personal Tutors, Careers Teams, and curriculum leaders to ensure learners are work-ready and well supported.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to quality improvement and self-assessment processes.
• Support the College's careers programme, careers strategy, Gatsby Benchmarks, and attend relevant work experience and careers meetings.
