Job Overview

The role of the Junior MI & Data Developer is to support our Lead Developers with data, reporting, and insights that aid in resource planning and performance management within the operation.

This support is primarily through the production of bespoke data, insights, and analysis delivered to senior stakeholders to improve forecasting, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance operational output.

The role involves providing daily and weekly performance reports at a client/site level, covering:

  • Staffing and adherence performance
  • Shrinkage and absence analysis
  • Early Life and Glide Path performance
  • Agent KPIs such as AHT, Resolve Rate, Transfer Rate, NPS, Quality Measures, and client-specific metrics

This position is key in identifying performance opportunities by providing timely KPI insights with commentary.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Deliver insights on current and historical performance
  • Assess planning effectiveness and efficiency
  • Maintain and develop internal reports, databases, and data structures
  • Develop planning tools in Excel and other formats
  • Create new reports using PowerBI as part of global strategy
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure clear communication and execution of plans
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses on performance variances and forecast improvements
  • Enhance presentation and relevance of operational KPIs
  • Provide analytical support for WFM, Best Practice, and Operations
  • Accurately update system information
  • Ensure presentations are audience-appropriate
  • Manage collection of effectiveness measures across departments
  • Contribute to team direction and priorities
Main Job Requirements and Skills
  • Understanding of SQL/MSQL query building and data management
  • Strong Excel skills, VBA preferred
  • Experience with Business Objects, Azure, PowerBI, or similar
  • Strong analytical and data mining skills
  • Experience in data analysis/reporting within call centers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create complex reporting models
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and customer focus
