Job summary

Quartzelec is seeking an experienced JIB-Approved Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance and testing across commercial and NHS projects in Leeds. You will work closely with the Electrical Site Manager and site teams to deliver high-quality electrical work safely and in accordance with drawings, project specs and BS 7671.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition (BS 7671), City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent, and a minimum of five years in an approved electrical

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
18th Edition BS 7671 required.
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an approved electrical role.
Experience in commercial/industrial/construction environments and NHS settings.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance and testing to a high standard.
Install containment systems (cable tray, trunking, ladder, conduits).
Install ELV & LV cabling networks (SWA’s, PVC singles, data, Belden’s, multicore).
Terminate and connect electrical equipment and distribution systems.
Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and project specs.
