Job summary

Design Build Cast (DBC) is seeking an experienced Wax Worker / Mould Maker to join our Birmingham production team. You will produce wax patterns and moulds for a wide range of jewellery, ensuring high-quality results that impact the finished casting.

Based in Oldbury, Birmingham, you will work hands-on with injection equipment and assist in maintaining accuracy, consistency, and clean, safe working practices across the production area.

Qualifications

• Hands-on wax injection and mould making within jewellery industry.
• Ability to produce high-quality wax patterns and moulds.
• Confident working with small, intricate pieces with high accuracy.
• Good understanding of jewellery manufacture and precious metal casting standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce wax patterns using injection equipment
• Inspect waxes for defects and quality issues
• Prepare waxes for next production stage
• Create rubber and silicone moulds from masters
• Cut moulds for reliable wax production
• Maintain accurate job records through production
