Job summary

Watches of Switzerland Group is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser for the Jewellery Merchandise Team, based at our Support Centre in Leicester (Carlton Park). You will assist in planning, monitoring the purchase and distribution of merchandise to maximise sales and profit in the assigned departments.

Key competencies include strong Excel skills, budgeting awareness, excellent planning, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising, allocator or retail analytics.
• Experience supervising and coaching team members to deliver results.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills; able to coordinate competing priorities.
• Strong systems and Excel knowledge; commercially aware.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, controlling and monitoring purchase, intake and distribution of merchandise to maximise sales and profit.
• Support in ensuring stock availability and timely deliveries across departments.
• Contribute to budget adherence and profitability targets within the Jewellery Merchandising Team.

We're looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Jewellery Merchandise Team, based from our Support Centre in Leicester - Carlton Park.

As the Assistant Merchandiser, you will assist in planning, controlling, and monitoring the purchase, intake, and distribution of merchandise in order to maximise sales and profit in the assigned departments in line with the Company values.

About You

• Considerable experience within a retail merchandising, allocator, or retail analyst arena
• Evidence of supervising and coaching other team members to deliver outstanding results
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Experience of working within a budget whilst still trading profit opportunities
• Strong systems and Excel knowledge
• Ability to co-ordinate a number of competing priorities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and target driven
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercially aware
