Job summary

Watches of Switzerland Group is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser for the Jewellery Merchandise Team at our Leicester Support Centre (MAT cover). You will assist in planning, controlling and monitoring merchandise flow to maximise sales and profitability in the assigned departments.

Ideal candidates will have substantial retail merchandising experience, leadership ability, strong planning skills, and excellent Excel know-how.

• Experience in retail merchandising, allocator, or retail analyst roles.
• Evidence of supervising and coaching other team members.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage budgets while trading profit opportunities.
• Excellent systems and Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, controlling, and monitoring purchase, intake and distribution of merchandise.

We're looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our Jewellery Merchandise Team, based from our Support Centre in Leicester - Carlton Park.

As the Assistant Merchandiser, you will assist in planning, controlling, and monitoring the purchase, intake, and distribution of merchandise in order to maximise sales and profit in the assigned departments in line with the Company values.

About You

• Considerable experience within a retail merchandising, allocator, or retail analyst arena
• Evidence of supervising and coaching other team members to deliver outstanding results
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Experience of working within a budget whilst still trading profit opportunities
• Strong systems and Excel knowledge
• Ability to co-ordinate a number of competing priorities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and target driven
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
