Job summary

JD.com in London invites current students to join the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program. Over 3–6 months you’ll work within our international procurement team, gaining hands-on exposure to real projects, responsibilities, and growth in a global tech and logistics company.

You’ll drive supplier partnerships, lead evaluations and negotiations, track orders, and collaborate across business teams to deliver value and insights that support core objectives.

Qualifications

• Current student with relevant field (Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related).
• Graduating in 2027 and eligible for internship.
• Willing to learn quickly and ask questions.
• Able to communicate clearly and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic supplier partnerships: build and manage a vendor portfolio and establish evaluation frameworks.
• Own end-to-end execution: lead quote evaluations, contract negotiations and order tracking.
• Deliver smart cost optimisation: analyse market trends and centralise purchasing strategies.
• Modernise and automate workflows: standardise procedures and promote e-procurement tools.
• Partner across business teams to deliver procurement solutions aligned with core objectives.
