Job summary

JD.com in London is seeking an intern to join the UK campus recruitment team and help connect young talent with great opportunities. You’ll work five days a week in the office (Green Park) for 3–6 months, gaining hands-on HR experience and exposure to a global business.

You’ll collaborate with business leads and HR managers, manage recruitment requests during peak season, and participate in careers fairs across the UK and EU, shaping an inclusive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Currently studying toward an undergraduate or masters degree with ability to complete a placement year or internship starting August/Sept 2026.
• Willing to work in central London (Green Park) and join the team 5 days a week initially in the office, reducing over the course of your internship.
• Comfortable working with changing deadlines and priorities but able to see opportunities to improve ways of working too.
• Humility is key to succeeding at JD.com.

Responsibilities

• Work with business leads and HR managers to understand recruitment requirements.
• Taking ownership to manage multiple requests for hiring during our peak season.
• Go Global! You'll get exposure to new cultures, languages and learn about international business quicker than you could imagine.
• You'll get the autonomy to make hiring decisions and get to see the whole HR process (perfect for preparing you for the graduate market next year!).
• Providing an amazing candidate experience that creates a 'wow' moment for the candidates - especially those who are not successful.
• Collaborate with some of the worlds best universities to support with promoting our roles and JD.com, including attending careers fairs in UK and EU.
• Creating real, social content and working with our Employer Brand Specialist to spread the word about JD.com.
