Job summary

The Developer Link is seeking a frontend developer to own features from development through release, focusing on eCommerce frontends with React. You will collaborate with UX/UI, QA, product and delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work on frontend and some backend code, with experience in HTML/CSS, APIs, and modern web tooling. A hybrid pattern in West London is offered with up to £50,000 starting salary plus benefits.

Working pattern: Hybrid 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: Up to £50,000 starting salary + benefits

The Opportunity

You’ll work mainly on frontend + some backend codebases, taking ownership of features from development through to release and improvement. You’ll work closely with developers, QA, UX/UI, product and delivery teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Work closely with UX/UI and product teams to deliver responsive, user-friendly experiences.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services and eCommerce platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and Agile ceremonies.
• Take ownership of features and proactively identify opportunities to improve code, processes and performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working on eCommerce websites.
• Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or similar eCommerce platforms is fine.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive web design.
• Experience with APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Confident with Git and Agile development environments.
• Experience with React and component-based development.
• Experience with Node.js/Express, automated testing and CI/CD would be advantageous.
• A pragmatic, quality-focused approach with strong attention to performance and maintainability.
