Bright Ascension Ltd is seeking an experienced Java Software Engineer to join our Ground team. You will contribute to ground software development, participate in the full software lifecycle, and help deliver high-quality, reliable software in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full time with hybrid working in Edinburgh or Dundee, with remote work considered. You will collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration and support agile processes within the wider product suite.

Qualifications

• Strong Java experience in a professional environment (min 2 years).
• Experience with high-quality code development and debugging practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test elements of ground software.
• Produce high-quality, reliable software following best practices.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of ground software.
• Implement bug fixes and provide internal and external support.
