Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design and deliver secure, cloud‑native Java applications across multiple industries from Newcastle upon Tyne. You will craft RESTful APIs with Spring Boot / Spring MVC, contribute to architecture and system design, and support live services while driving observability.

The role includes mentoring engineers and collaborating with stakeholders on technical topics.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Confidence communicating complex technical topics to stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering community.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining high-quality Java applications.
• Building and securing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot / Spring MVC.
• Contributing to architecture and system design, including non-functional requirements.
• Supporting live services, troubleshooting production issues, and improving observability.
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to the wider engineering community.
