Millennium is seeking a Software Engineer - Java to join its global IT team. You will design, implement and ship features in Java and Python, collaborating with teams in London, New York, Miami, and Bengaluru. You’ll ramp on risk concepts like VaR and contribute to AI-powered risk tooling while growing technically and professionally.

The role emphasizes clean code, testing, and adherence to engineering standards in a fast-paced front-office environment, with a strong focus on learning and impact.

Competenze

• Up to 3 years of software development experience with Java and/or Python.
• Strong CS fundamentals: OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to build end-to-end solutions with real products.
• Interest in AI/ML and large language models; hands-on projects desirable.
• Basic SQL knowledge and Unix/Linux competency.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD (Jenkins) and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong communication and proactive collaboration in a demanding environment.
