Job summary

Hastings Direct, a digital insurer, is seeking a Microservices Developer to design, build and maintain scalable microservices within the CIO Technology Engineering team. Hybrid working from Leicester or Bexhill.

You will work with senior engineers, architects and cross-functional scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions, participate in code reviews, and take ownership of deliverables while mentoring junior developers and exploring new technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing Java-based microservices in a commercial environment.
• Experience in agile delivery teams with iterative development.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to design discussions.
