Job summary
Anson McCade’s Newcastle-based Java Developer role seeks experienced engineers to join an Agile team delivering enterprise-scale solutions. Qualifications
- Experience in Java development using modern Java platforms (Java 8–17).
- Strong Spring Boot and microservices development experience.
- Solid Agile/Scrum, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Support the design and integration of microservice-based solutions.
- Apply engineering best practices including TDD, CI and testing.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives
- Collaborate with developers, technical leads, test automation engineers, cloud and infrastructure teams
- Support the delivery of secure and scalable cloud-based solutions
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineers where appropriate
