Job summary

Capgemini UK is seeking a hands-on software engineer to deliver enterprise-scale solutions in a DevOps environment. You’ll work with Java, Spring, and modern cloud technologies across a hybrid setup blending Capgemini offices, client sites and home working.

You’ll apply engineering discipline, write clean code, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD. Security checks and DV clearance may be part of the recruitment process, with wellbeing and training opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience of Java and Spring framework or equivalent.
• Knowledge of software design patterns and when to apply them.
• Experience of containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience of CI/CD and automated testing (TDD).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical expert delivering projects in a true DevOps manner.
• Apply software engineering mindset to problems, provisioning services, writing code and automation tools.
