Accenture is seeking a Java Developer in Newcastle upon Tyne, operating in a hybrid model with on-site work required at our Cobalt Business Park office three days a week. Qualifications

• Experience with Java Development Kit (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot to build modular, maintainable services.
• Enterprise middleware experience including WebLogic Server (EE) and CAS SDK for secure integrations.
• Collaborate with cloud and infra teams to deploy to secure, scalable public cloud environments (e.g., AWS) using containers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using core Java and Spring Boot.
• Support end-to-end integration and flow between components; collaborate with test automation engineers.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
