Accenture is hiring an Associate Manager - Java in Newcastle to lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise Java applications and microservices. You will mentor engineers, translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, and drive cloud-native practices within Agile teams.

Based in our Newcastle Advanced Technology Centre, this hybrid role requires on-site presence and collaboration with architects, product owners, and delivery teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Java engineering teams in enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud-native Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise Java applications and microservices.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions with architects and delivery teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers throughout SDLC.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and cloud-native solutions.
• Drive CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices to improve delivery quality.
