Job Responsibilities

1. Designing and developing server-side components that meet the business requirements in an effective and efficient manner.
2. Directly interfacing with business users in understanding the requirement and providing solutions.
3. Assisting & guiding team members in design and development.
4. Partnering along with the leads to identify and mitigate risks and escalate issues as necessary.
5. Ensure code quality and automated testing standards, be a part of regular code reviews and ensure quality gates are upheld and enhanced.

Skills

1. Previous work experience in software development.
2. Should have hands-on experience with Java/Scala, Spring and RDBMS/SQL.
3. Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server side development.
4. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
5. Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.
6. Exposure to Test and Behavior Driven Development in agile setup is a huge plus.
7. Exposure to JavaScript framework like Angular is desirable.
8. Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
9. Desire to learn the business domain and partner with stakeholders to specify new business features.
10. Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
11. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or relevant technical degree.
