Denizns Ltd seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, build and maintain RESTful and SOAP microservices using Spring Boot in an Agile environment.

The role is hybrid/contract, focusing on scalable architectures and high-quality development with testing, reviews and cross‑functional collaboration. Ideal candidates have 3+ years with Spring Boot, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud databases.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance is essential.
• 3+ years' experience as a Java Developer building microservices.
• Strong Spring Boot, REST API design and SOAP/WSDL/XML experience.
• TDD and BDD testing with JUnit and Cucumber.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins CI/CD and SonarQube in modern pipelines.
• MySQL/PostgreSQL, plus MongoDB or another document database.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP) and Linux proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy RESTful and SOAP microservices using Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and deliver features.
• Write clean, well-documented code following SOLID principles.
