Job summary

Spencer Rose Ltd is urgently seeking a Java Developer for a 6+ month contract in Manchester. The role requires strong Java experience, microservices with Spring Boot, Kafka, and hands-on GCP across deployment and cloud-native services.

Start: URGENT
Location: Manchester - hybrid, 2 days a week in the office
Rate: £420pd Inside IR35

• Java (8/11/17+) with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development.
• Microservices Architecture using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed system design.
• Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture, messaging, and asynchronous processing.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including deployment, monitoring, and cloud-native services.
