Job summary

Spencer Rose Limited seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer for a banking client in Manchester on a 6-12 month contract, start ASAP. You’ll work on modern cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms.

Hybrid role: 2 days per week in the office. Must have strong GCP and Kubernetes expertise, with experience in multi-cloud environments and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes - GKE preferred.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Multi-cloud environments advantageous.
• Harness CI/CD & Jenkins.
• Terraform & GitHub/Git.
• Backstage, Dynatrace & HashiCorp Vault.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud-native DevOps solutions for a banking client.
• Manage deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code via Terraform and Git.
• Maintain secure, scalable Kubernetes-based environments on GCP and multi-cloud setups.
